Desert Mountain Energy Names Financial Chief, Sees Helium Production in Quarter

Desert Mountain Energy Corp. said Wednesday that it has appointed Valorie Farley as its new chief financial officer and that it expects to be producing and selling helium commercially by this quarter.

The Canadian helium and rare earth gas exploration and development company said it is in the final stage of development and that it is working on building infrastructure and getting its six helium wells at the McCauley helium field in Arizona into production.

Desert Mountain added that it would have a better idea by June or July of this year what the production capability of the helium field will be.

Additionally, the company said that Valorie Farley has accepted the role of financial chief.

She brings with her experience in power generation and distribution and natural resources, as well as in regulatory and financial reporting, the company said.
