Shares of Hyatt Hotels gained after the company said it will be added to the S&P MidCap 400.
The stock was up 7.2% at $112 in early trading. Shares have risen 24% year-to-date.
The hotel chain said after the bell Monday that it is set to replace National Instruments, which is being acquired by Emerson Electric, in the mid-cap index.
The switch is slated to go into effect at the opening of trading Thursday.
