PARIS (Reuters) – Wine production in France is expected to reach nearly 45 million hectolitres this year, in line with an initial range of 44-47 million projected last month, the farm ministry said on Friday.
The revised forecast was 2% below last year’s output of 46.1 million hectolitres.
A hectolitre is the equivalent of 100 litres, or 133 standard wine bottles.
