Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 1.63%.

The best performers of the session on the were NICE Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.20% or 3,980.00 points to trade at 80,520.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) added 3.45% or 33.10 points to end at 992.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.35% or 175.00 points to 5,400.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which fell 2.75% or 19.00 points to trade at 671.00 at the close. Bank Hapoalim (TASE:) declined 2.68% or 82.00 points to end at 2,975.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.59% or 71.00 points to 2,674.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 192 and 31 ended unchanged.

Shares in NICE Ltd (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.20% or 3,980.00 to 80,520.00. Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.59% or 71.00 to 2,674.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.77% or 1.29 to $74.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.28% or 0.99 to hit $78.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 14.35 to trade at $1,998.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.43% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS rose 1.00% to 3.92.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 101.85.
