Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Paris, the rose 0.60%, while the index lost 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the were Alstom SA (EPA:), which rose 2.37% or 0.31 points to trade at 13.42 at the close. Meanwhile, ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) added 2.09% or 0.42 points to end at 20.50 and Societe Generale SA (EPA:) was up 1.88% or 0.40 points to 21.66 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:), which fell 1.07% or 0.54 points to trade at 50.00 at the close. Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:) declined 0.82% or 0.58 points to end at 69.78 and Veolia Environnement VE SA (EPA:) was down 0.41% or 0.11 points to 26.92.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Solutions 30 SE (EPA:) which rose 10.01% to 2.22, Elior Group (EPA:) which was up 6.43% to settle at 1.99 and CGG SA (EPA:) which gained 3.74% to close at 0.68.

The worst performers were Orpea SA (EPA:) which was down 14.46% to 0.95 in late trade, Atos SE (EPA:) which lost 3.96% to settle at 6.25 and Clariane SE (EPA:) which was down 3.90% to 3.50 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 281 to 221 and 108 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.64% or 12.45 to $1,950.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.43% or 1.10 to hit $78.27 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.45% or 1.18 to trade at $82.61 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.24% to 0.87.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 105.51.
